About Me
I’m Livvy, a proud, passionate plant-based chef.
I’ve loved to cook and bake for as long as I can remember; during my “quarter-life crisis” after completing my degree in Political Science, I decided to take a gamble and pursue something I knew deep down was always a dream of mine. I packed my car and drove to Boulder, Colorado to complete a diploma in Plant-Based Culinary Arts at Auguste Escoffier. I donned my hairnet and non-slip shoes and learned life-changing French techniques with specific vegetarian applications.
I’ve since worked in a restaurant and commercial kitchen in Nashville and am looking to combine my skills in the kitchen with my creativity in menu design, passion for ethical and sustainable ingredients, & desire to bring people together over good food.
My favorite things to cook for my most demanding client—myself—include maple cinnamon Japanese sweet potatoes, beet hummus, and Chipotle-style sofritas burritos. Outside of the kitchen, I love to read, practice yoga, and go on long walks with friends.
